Electronic Payment System for Bus Travel to Begin

The electronic card-based payment system for bus travel will be officially launched on 24 November.

The inauguration will take place at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Centre in Kottawa.

The event will be held under the leadership of Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake.

This new initiative is being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Digital Technology and the Ministry of Transport.
