DMK MP seeks EC action against Vijay, TVK minister over Pocso case remarks

DMK Rajya Sabha MP J Constandine Ravindran accused Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay and sports minister Aadhav Arjuna of violating the Model Code of Conduct and a Madras High Court order by referencing an ongoing POCSO case involving granite baron R Veeramani during an election rally. 

The case concerns Veeramani's alleged sexual abuse of minors, first registered in 2025. Ravindran urged the Election Commission to act, citing the court's directive forbidding linking the case to DMK members and requiring fair campaigning.
