Courts instructed to submit annual reports on destruction of hazardous drugs

Courts have been instructed to submit annual reports on hazardous drugs destroyed under court orders to the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board by 31 December each year.

The revised directive, issued by the Judicial Service Commission, makes submission of these reports mandatory and supplements guidelines issued on 3 March 2023.

Under the new instructions, each court must prepare an annual report detailing the destruction of poisons, opium and hazardous drugs in accordance with a prescribed format and submit it before the year’s end.
