Colombo West International Terminal Makes Donation

A donation of Rs. 100 million was made to the Government’s Sri Lanka Reconstruction Fund to assist people affected by Cyclone.
The cheque was handed over yesterday at the Presidential Secretariat to Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake by Indian Deputy High Commissioner Sathyanjal Pandey and Colombo West International Terminal (Pvt) Ltd CEO Munis Kanwar.
The Presidential Secretary appreciated the Indian Government’s support for Sri Lanka’s post-disaster reconstruction efforts. The Indian Deputy High Commissioner stated that India remains ready to provide further assistance.
Ports and Civil Aviation Minister Anura Karunathilaka, officials from the Indian High Commission, John Keells Holdings Chairman and CEO Krishan Balendra, and representatives of the Colombo West International Terminal were present.
