Begging the world, including India, to buy Russian oil: Araghchi

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi accused the US of hypocrisy for pressuring India to stop buying Russian oil, then urging countries to purchase it amid Middle East conflict-driven energy market turmoil. 

The US issued temporary waivers to allow sanctioned Russian oil sales to stabilize prices exceeding $100 per barrel after Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz. 

Despite tensions, Iran granted safe passage to Indian ships through the strait, reflecting strong Iran-India ties amid regional instability.
