Aid Donated by the All-China Women’s Federation to Be Distributed to Affected Women and Children

Women’s and children’s hygiene items donated by the All-China Women’s Federation will be distributed to those affected by floods and landslides through the joint initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and the Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus.

The federation donated goods worth 1,000,000 yuan, including equipment for establishing a mother-care room and childcare facility for Parliament staff, as well as women’s hygiene products to be distributed nationwide through the Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus.

At the intervention of Minister Sarojini Savithri Paulraj, the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and the Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus will jointly distribute these supplies.

The Minister stated that allocating this donation to affected women and children during the current disaster would provide much-needed relief.

Secretary General of Parliament and Secretary of the Caucus Kushani Rohanadeera expressed gratitude to the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador Qi Zhenhong, and the All-China Women’s Federation for making the donation possible.
