Report warns AI may handle half of tech support cases in India by 2027

With artificial intelligence getting smarter by the day, the fear of it replacing human jobs is only growing. Researchers now warn that the shift may arrive sooner than expected, and this will disrupt the market across the globe including the fast-growing markets like India. 

A new Salesforce study suggests India's tech support sector is heading towards a major AI takeover, with artificial intelligence expected to handle 50 per cent of all customer service cases in the country by 2027. 

Right now, service teams estimate AI manages roughly 30 per cent of support cases, and the report predicts that this adoption will almost double in just two years.
