Hubble and Webb telescopes spot 27 frozen worlds hiding beyond Neptune

Scientists combined NASA's Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes to study Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs) beyond Neptune, discovering 27 previously unknown icy bodies, including some of the smallest ever detected. 

Their findings revealed fewer tiny objects than expected, challenging existing planet formation models. By analyzing visible and infrared light, researchers gathered data on the colors, sizes, and orbits of TNOs, offering insights into the early solar system and suggesting that these frozen relics have remained mostly unchanged for billions of years.
