25 Pakistani soldiers killed in Balochistan

The Balochistan Liberation Army intensified its insurgency by attacking Pakistani military targets, killing 25 soldiers in two assaults using guerrilla tactics from elite units like the Fateh Squad and STOS. 

They released graphic videos of the attacks, marking a sharp rise in violence reminiscent of their 2024 Operation Herof. 

Pakistan retaliated with raids killing around 50 militants. This cycle reflects ongoing insurgency fuelled by ethnic separatism and alleged state abuses in Balochistan, with demands for autonomy or independence persisting.
