Tsunami from mountains: Rescued Tamil Nadu pilgrim

A pilgrimage of 21 Indian pilgrims from Tamil Nadu to Kailash Mansarovar was devastated by flash floods and landslides in Nepal's Rasuwagadhi region on August 26, forcing a desperate survival climb. Rescued by the Nepal Army, they safely returned to India amid ongoing search efforts for missing nationals. 

Nepal's floods have claimed 626 lives, with thousands missing. India continues to assist Nepal with humanitarian aid and works to account for its citizens affected by the disaster, reflecting international cooperation amid tragedy.
