England head coach Brendon McCullum has denied rumors of a rift with captain Ben Stokes, affirming their strong friendship ahead of the third Test against New Zealand. Stokes and Gus Atkinson missed the second Test due to suspensions for breaching curfew but have been cleared to return. 

McCullum emphasized their close working relationship since 2022 despite recent team challenges. England made four changes for the decider, including the return of Stokes, Atkinson, Bashir, and Smith, aiming to replicate their winning first Test lineup.
