Israel, Middle East wouldn't exist if I didn't stop Iran from having nuke: Trump

US President Donald Trump claimed on Truth Social that Israel and the Middle East owe their existence to his administration's prevention of Iran developing nuclear weapons. 

Despite US and Israeli strikes on Iran's nuclear sites in 2025 and 2026, the true status of Iran's nuclear capabilities remains uncertain. 

The IAEA reports Iran still holds enriched uranium below weapons-grade levels but cannot fully verify its nuclear material. 

Iran denies pursuing nukes, and US intelligence sees no concrete evidence of an active weapons program. Trump is considering further military action amid ongoing US-Iran tensions.
