Woman, 70, killed in crash near Russell

A 70-year-old woman has died after a pair of vehicles collided on the afternoon of Jan 3 just outside Russell.

Ontario Provincial Police alerted people to the crash on North Russell Road near Route 200 in a social media post at around 2:40 p.m.

OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson later told Radio-Canada that a 70-year-old woman had been taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Police continue to investigate.
