Man accused of sexually assaulting 4-year-old in Gatineau park

A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault and sexual assault on October 11 in Gatineau, according to Gatineau Police.

Police said the father contacted them around 4 p.m. on October 11 to report his 4-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted.

He saw the suspect allegedly touching his daughter in Pierre-Lafontaine Park, police told Radio-Canada. The man is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
