Family, friends and hundreds of supporters walked through the streets of Longueuil, Que. Saturday, many wearing t-shirts calling for "Justice for Nooran."
The silent march began at the corner of Monaco and Joseph-Daigneault streets, just steps away from where 15-year-old Nooran Rezayi was shot dead on Sept. 21.
"I don't know how this policeman could kill Nooran," said Sarah Larhdaf, who had been friends with Rezayi since the third grade. "He literally took away his chance to find his first love, to be able to graduate, to be able to pass his driving lessons."
Rezayi's death has sparked public outrage, with his family and an eyewitness saying he was unarmed when he was shot.
