Sri Lanka: Foreign Secretary Jayanath Colombage has said that Sri Lanka will not surrender without a fight at the UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva.

He stated that he would present his views to the Human Rights Council with the logical facts of Sri Lanka and there were no facts in the information. He said legal errors were found.

This is purely a country's internal affair. What right does another organization have to ask that 'You did this, why did you do this?

This is the reason why we do not accept this statement.

We are not ready to surrender without a fight. We want the Office of the Missing to continue to operate. We would like to continue to have an office related to compensation.

We want to continue to uphold all human rights organizations in the country. We want to strengthen them as well.

We want to fund them. We want to recruit people for these organizations. We have heard of their plan for 2021.

"We were involved in the conflict. There will be casualties in the conflict. But if 70,000 people were killed in the aftermath, where are their bodies? Where are the skeletons? Nothing," he said.
