US, Canada won't restart trade talks, Carney apologised for ad, says Trump

US President Donald Trump said on October 31 that the United States and Canada will not restart trade talks. He added that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had apologised for an anti-tariff commercial that disrupted the negotiations.

"I like him a lot but what they did was wrong," Trump said. "He apologised for what they did with the commercial because it was a false commercial."
