Trump says Iran will be bombed if he's assassinated
12-Jul-2026.
US President Donald Trump claimed Iran has long targeted him for assassination and stated he left orders for an unprecedented military response if Iran succeeds.
Despite reports of a new Iranian plot, Trump dismissed imminent threats, emphasizing his status as Iran's top target since 2020, following the killing of Qasem Soleimani.
He warned Iran against acquiring nuclear weapons and said future conflicts would be brief. Trump also revealed Iran sought renewed talks, but the US declared the ceasefire over.
