His remarks, seen as a message to China—which dominates rare earth supply chains—highlighted BRICS initiatives fostering resilience, innovation, and sustainability. Modi advocated for equitable benefits for the Global South, promoting joint solutions. 

Key agreements included the BRICS Early Warning System for infectious diseases, a Startup Innovation Fund, and a digital agriculture network to support farmers with advanced technologies.
