We respect Russia-India ties, Pakistan's Shehbaz Sharif

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Islamabad respects Moscow’s relations with New Delhi, calling them "perfectly fine," during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing on September 2.

Sharif added that Islamabad seeks to build strong relations with Moscow. "We also want to build very strong relations, which would be supplementary and complementary to the progress and prosperity of the region," he said, praising Putin as a "very dynamic leader" and expressing his willingness to work closely with him.

“And we also want to build very strong relations ... and these relations will be supplementary and complimentary for the progess and prosperity of the region," Sharif added.
