UP dowry death: Victim's mother-in-law arrested, accused husband in 14-day custody

Police in Greater Noida have arrested the mother-in-law of the woman who was killed in a dowry-related attack, just hours after the victim's husband was shot in the leg while trying to escape custody. 

The prime accused, Vipit Bhati, has been sent to 14-day judicial custody.

According to the DCP of Greater Noida, one more accused has been arrested in the case. The mother-in-law, Sans Dayawati, was caught near JIMS Hospital based on a tip-off while she was reportedly going to see her son Vipin, who had been injured in a police encounter.
