Thushara Indunil Fernando appointed Commissioner General of Motor Traffic

The Cabinet has approved the appointment of retired Air Vice Marshal Thushara Indunil Fernando as Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, with immediate effect, to fill the currently vacant post.

The proposal to appoint retired Air Vice Marshal Thushara Indunil Fernando to the post on a contractual basis was submitted by the Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development.

The Cabinet granted its full approval to the proposal submitted by the Minister.
