President Anura Holds Talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres at the UN Headquarters in New York.

During the cordial discussion, President Dissanayake briefed the Secretary-General in detail about the government’s initiatives to elevate Sri Lanka economically, socially, and politically.

Secretary-General Guterres commended these efforts and assured his full support for the programmes being undertaken by the Sri Lankan government.
