Prajwal Revanna rape trial witness alleges threats

A key prosecution witness in the rape trial of former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna told a Bengaluru court she fears for her and her son's safety after threatening calls. The court ordered a police inquiry and witness protection. 

Prajwal, grandson of former PM HD Deve Gowda, was convicted and sentenced to life in August 2025. Recently, items were recovered from his prison cell. The case remains in trial, with the court addressing the witness's safety concerns.
