Pakistan Sends Additional 200 Metric Tons of Humanitarian Aid by Sea

Under the special instruction of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and as part of ongoing humanitarian aid, 200 metric tons of relief supplies arrived in Sri Lanka from Pakistan by sea on Dec 15.

The shipment included temporary shelters, mattresses, blankets, life jackets, inflatable boats, water pumps, camp lights, mosquito nets, palm mats, ready-to-eat nutrition, and essential medicines.

The supplies were handed over to Sri Lankan officials by Pakistan’s High Commissioner, Major General (Retd) Faheem ul Azeez, highlighting the long-standing friendship and strong bilateral ties between the two countries.
