Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who arrived in Sri Lanka on an official visit, held extensive discussions with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa on strengthening multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting between Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa was held in Colombo on August 5.

During the discussions, attention was focused on key regional developments and ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation in several areas, including trade, investment, technology, economic development and people-to-people connections.
