Cyclone Death Toll Climbs to 465

The death toll due to landslides and floods caused by Cyclone has risen to 465.
Another 336 people are missing. A total of 783 houses have been fully destroyed and 31,417 houses partially damaged across several districts.
The Disaster Management Centre reported that 232,752 people from 61,875 families have been sheltered in 1,433 relief camps.
They also reported that 233,015 people from 64,483 families have been sheltered in 1,441 relief camps.
The Irrigation Department announced that the landslide warnings issued for the Kelani River, Malwathu Oya, and Mahaweli River regions will continue.
