Chinese Ambassador Meets Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa Before Leaving Wijerama House

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa vacated the Wijerama official residence on September 11. Before his departure, the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka visited him for a discussion.

Mahinda Rajapaksa shared on his official Twitter account: “Before leaving the official residence at Wijerama, I was pleased to meet and hold discussions with the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka. I thank him for his visit and fondly recall the enduring diplomatic and personal friendship between our nations.”

Meanwhile, former ministers, parliamentarians, and many supporters of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna also visited Wijerama residence yesterday to meet him. He left amid chants and slogans from his supporters.
