Call for Collective Effort to Build a Humane State

Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando emphasized the need for all stakeholders to unite in building a state that upholds human dignity.

Addressing senior officials of the Department of Labour at a conference held on 26 February at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration, he stressed the rejection of using politics for personal gain and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency and democratic values.

Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe urged officials to work collectively to improve public perceptions of the Department.
