Flipkart to launch food delivery service soon

Flipkart, owned by Walmart, is launching an online food delivery service in India to compete with Zomato and Swiggy. 

The rollout will start on a small scale to gather customer feedback before nationwide expansion. Accessible via both a separate app and the main Flipkart app, the service aims to offer broad restaurant choices, fast deliveries, and reliable service. 

Flipkart plans to integrate with the government's ONDC and leverage its strong logistics to compete in the growing, competitive food delivery market.
