Reliance, Rolls-Royce join hands to develop engine for India's AMCA fighter jet

Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce have partnered to develop an indigenous fighter jet engine for India's AMCA programme, aiming to create a full-cycle aerospace propulsion capability domestically. 

The collaboration combines Rolls-Royce's engine expertise with Reliance's manufacturing strengths, supporting India's strategic goal of self-reliance in defence technology. 

They plan to explore establishing an Aerospace Gas Turbine Complex to advance design, development, testing, and production. This partnership aligns with India's Atmanirbhar Bharat vision and seeks to enhance its global competitiveness in aerospace propulsion.
