UAE confirms Netanyahu visit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the UAE and met President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a six-hour discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional challenges, particularly Iran. 

This visit, officially confirmed by the UAE, signals deepening ties since the 2020 Abraham Accords. 

Amid increased regional tensions following the Iran war, both nations are enhancing cooperation to manage security and diplomatic issues, with the UAE leveraging its relationship with Israel to engage regionally and maintain links with the US.
