Parcel thrown over Magazine Prison wall recovered

A parcel containing prohibited items, which had been thrown over the wall of Magazine Prison, has been recovered.

The parcel contained 30 mobile phone batteries, 250 grammes of lime, 50 grammes of tobacco, betel leaves and mawa, according to reports.

Further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Sahaspura Police.
