GCE Advanced Level Examinations to Commence Next Week

The Department of Examinations has announced that the GCE Advanced Level Examination will commence on August 10, while the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be held on August 9.

The Advanced Level Examination will continue until September 5 at 2,532 examination centres across the country. The department stated that the distribution of admission cards to candidates commenced last week.

Admission cards for school candidates have already been forwarded to the relevant Zonal Education Offices. School principals have been requested to collect them from the Deputy or Assistant Directors of Education in charge of examinations at their respective zonal offices.

Meanwhile, admission cards for private candidates are being dispatched by post to their registered residential addresses. The Department of Examinations has also made online facilities available for candidates to correct any errors or discrepancies appearing on their admission cards.

The department further announced that the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be conducted on August 9. It also stated that the final date for conducting seminars and private tuition classes for Advanced Level and Grade Five Scholarship candidates will be announced next week.
