Ottawa man dies after crashing pickup truck near Kaladar

A man is dead after a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck near Kaladar, Ont.

The collision happened around 3 p.m. on July 24 near the area of Highway 41 and Highway 7, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.

OPP said the 64-year-old driver from Ottawa was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Highway 41 was closed in both directions between Highway 7 and Flinton Road for about four hours on the afternoon of July 24 but has since reopened, police say.
