Return to Mamata, I'll resign in an hour: Abhishek Banerjee challenges TMC rebels

Abhishek Banerjee of Trinamool Congress challenged rebel MPs/MLAs to return to Mamata Banerjee, offering to resign if they did. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Speaker is set to decide on mergers of rebel TMC and Shiv Sena MPs with other parties, potentially boosting the NDA's strength closer to a two-thirds majority. 

This could facilitate reintroduction of the Constitution 131st Amendment Bill, aiming to increase Lok Sabha seats and reserve 33% for women, amid shifting alliances and political realignments.
