Bengaluru unlikely to host IPL final over MLA ticket issue

The IPL final and play-off matches are unlikely to be held at Royal Challengers Bangalore's home ground, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, due to political tensions over MLA ticket demands and past crowd management issues. 

BCCI may instead split the matches between Punjab and Karnataka or shift the final to another city. Traditionally, the defending champion hosts the final, but ongoing controversies, including restrictions on complimentary tickets for MLAs, complicate the venue decision despite RCB's strong performance in IPL 2023.
