Iran ready to supply fuel and essentials if requested by Sri Lanka

Iranian Ambassador Alireza Delkhosh stated that Iran is prepared to supply fuel and other essential goods if requested by Sri Lanka.
Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo on March 23 he emphasised that Sri Lanka remains a close and long-standing partner.
Key points include:
Iran continues to allow friendly nations to transit through the Strait of Hormuz despite ongoing tensions.
Assistance will be extended upon official request from Sri Lanka.
On other matters:
His absence from the President’s Iftar event was due to prior commitments involving visiting Iranian personnel.
Measures are in place to ensure the safety of all foreign nationals, including Sri Lankans, in Iran.
Iran acknowledged Sri Lanka’s support in assisting rescued Iranian nationals following the attack on IRIS Dena.
