Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen is stepping down

Shantanu Narayen, Adobe's CEO since 2007, is stepping down amid investor concerns about AI competition. 

Under his leadership, Adobe grew from 3,000 to 30,000 employees and revenue surged from under $1 billion to over $25 billion, making its creative suite industry-leading. 

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella praised Narayen's impact and mentorship. Adobe continues developing AI tools like Firefly, which is rapidly adopted. 

Narayen will remain chair and CEO until a successor is found, emphasizing a forward-looking AI-driven creative future.
