Government Considering Work-from-Home for Civil Servants

Considering the current situation, the government is actively reviewing the reintroduction of a work-from-home system for civil servants.

Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Prof. Chandan Abeyrathne, said a final decision will be taken soon.

The measure aims to reduce transportation congestion and fuel usage, easing the economic burden on the country.
