Utilizing multiple intermediaries, including a deputy chief minister from another state, BJP aims to leverage Vijay's large fan base to sway crucial votes. 

However, Vijay's advisers and party leaders are divided, concerned that joining the NDA may undermine the party's independent image and grassroots appeal.
