06-Aug-2026.
Crime in Windsor declined in July, according to the Windsor Police Service’s latest monthly crime report.
Overall crime was down 15 per cent compared with July 2025, with 258 fewer incidents reported.
Property crime recorded one of the largest decreases, falling 14.2 per cent. Police attributed the drop to fewer reports of theft, break-and-enter, fraud and mischief offences.

Police reported increases in several categories, however. Drug offences rose 75 per cent, arson incidents increased 50 per cent, and violations under other federal statutes doubled compared with July 2025.
Year to date, total crime in Windsor is down 4.9 per cent compared with the same period in 2025, according to police.
