Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a suspicious death in Grenville County.

Officers discovered a body at a residence on Crowder Road in Spencerville on August 29, OPP said in a release. Spencerville lies about 80 km south of Ottawa along Highway 416.

Police told that it considers the death suspicious but could not provide further details.

The release says preliminary information suggest the incident is isolated and there is no broader public threat.

Police say residents can expect to see more police at the location as the investigation continues.
