4th person charged in connection with death of Melissa Price

A fourth person has been charged in connection with the death of Melissa Price, the 39-year-old woman whose body was found in a garbage bin in Moncton earlier this year.

Sean Kristopher Bastarache is accused of being an accessory after the fact of murder on Feb. 15, 2026.

Crown prosecutor Marc-André Desjardins confirmed to CBC News in an email that it is in connection with Price's death.

Bastarache did not appear in Moncton provincial court on October 13, but Judge Ami Assignon issued a warrant on his file.
