No Permanent Administrative Officers in Six Jaffna Divisional Secretariats

Out of 15 Divisional Secretariats in Jaffna District, only 9 have permanent administrative officers, while the remaining 6 are managed by acting officials, according to information obtained via the Right to Information Act.

Most current officials in administrative roles assumed duties around 2021, except in Kopay where the same officer has been serving without transfer for 14 years since 2011.

Permanent appointments have not yet been made for Velanai, Neduntheevu, Karainagar, Tellippalai, Sandilipay, and Uduvil Secretariats.
