Under the government’s financial assistance scheme, Rs. 9.7 billion will be allocated to provide Rs. 1 million each to 9,700 families for housing construction. A total of Rs. 10.2 billion has been allocated in the national budget for housing.

In addition to these, 3,500 houses will be built under loan schemes for public servants and other citizens, 500 houses under the Sevana Fund, and further units under the Indian housing project.
