CM Vijay unveils Rs 1,000-crore makeover plan for Perambur, women's safety in focus

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay unveiled a Rs 1,000 crore development package for Perambur constituency, focusing on urban infrastructure, housing, women's safety, and public spaces. 

After winning Perambur by over 38,000 votes in April, he launched smart bus shelters with CCTV and Wi-Fi, and plans the region's first pedestrian plaza with a food street. Vijay also inaugurated a renovated MLA office and introduced a public grievance app to enhance civic services and citizen engagement in Perambur.
