Child among 4 hurt in crash near Osgoode

Four people including a child were transported to hospital following a collision between two vehicles that sent one car into a farm field in south Ottawa on the morning of June 19.

Firefighters said they were called to the intersection of Nixon Drive and Dalmeny Road, just south of Osgoode, around 7:30 a.m.

The impact sent a car into a field and a pickup truck into some roadside bushes. Firefighters said they had to help extricate two occupants from the car and one from the truck.

One child was airlifted to hospital in serious but stable condition, and three men were seriously injured and taken by ambulance to hospital.
