Suresh Salley Develops Blood Clots, Says Wife

Former State Intelligence Service Chief Suresh Salley, who is currently receiving treatment at the National Hospital in Colombo, has developed blood clots in the veins of his hands, according to his wife Manori Salley.
Speaking to reporters after visiting him along with their son on June 19, she said his hands had swollen again and doctors were treating the blood clots. She also stated that an injection had been administered in his abdominal area as part of the treatment.
She added that Salley has been bedridden for a prolonged period and is unable to move his hands and legs freely. The blood clots were detected during medical examinations conducted after the swelling was observed.
