Meta has launched Instagram Plus, a paid subscription tier priced at Rs 299/month in India, offering users enhanced controls, insights, and customization beyond the free app. Key features focus on Stories, including extended durations, secret previews, and detailed viewer analytics. 

Subscribers also gain cosmetic upgrades like animated reactions, custom app icons, special fonts, and profile pins. This optional upgrade aligns with Meta's strategy to expand subscription services, with plans to add more features over time for a richer user experience.
